Theme #2 of the Nostalgia Photography Challenges FB page is Motion and the image above was the photo I submitted.
I could have done the long exposure at night with the cars and streets lights, but I went for something different. (by the way those pancakes my boyfriend made were delicious eheheh)

I’m also working on some images for an online collab photo project, more on that later this week!

I love photography challenges! You might have noticed already.
They give me a theme, a deadline to meet, they make me think about the image I want to get and they provide the opportunity to get some feedback on my work from the other participants.

If you follow me on Facebook you know yesterday I posted an image to the Nostalgia Photography FB page of Photo Challenges. The theme is Natural Light and you can post your image until the 1st of April. Here’s my entry:

Embolden Photography Challenges – challenge #4: shadows

Here’s my entry for this week’s Embolden challenge with the theme of Shadows:

Shadow (Lens: 35mm – Exposure: 1/2000 – Aperture: f/2.8 – ISO: 200)

My first idea was to capture shadows of animals made with hands on the wall, like I used to do when I was a kid. However, I was sitting on my living room when a ray of sunshine entered and I noticed the shadow of these sunglasses I have hanging on a photo support. I thought that could work for the challenge too! It looks cool to me, with a little touch of retro and I like the way we can see the texture of the wall in the shadowed parts.
